The Meanings of Orange—say goodbye to normalcy bias

updated October 6, 2019 (text font size discrepancies noted) This short essay attempts to question, if, in part, the power and authority that attempted to crush the indomitable spirit of the Indigenous is, in fact, remorseful for its heinous crimes and actions that are now out in the open. I believe what happened was intentional, and will never be apologized for by the papacy, nor true compensation given. The damage—genocide, and its generational effectuation—has been done. I believe there is only one Source for justice and healing.   I believe these crimes are paraded before us, naive and ignorant, as a form of long-standing mockery, especially in its cinematic form.
